Vincentric makes their decision by analyzing data that indicates the ownership costs of a vehicle over its entire life cycle and compares that amount to the current market price of the vehicle. As a result, ultimately deciding which is “best value.”

What is the value of this SUV?

Aluminum Body in the Works for Lincoln Navigator

While it is still early in the model year of 2015, here at Nick Nicholas Ford Lincoln, we are already looking into the future of Lincoln automobiles. Specifically, we’re looking forward to 2017, when the Lincoln Navigator is set to get a redesign, which will likely include an aluminum body.

The current model of the Navigator was released in the 2007 model year, so it would seem it’s time for an update. The change in platform will be similar to the Ford F-150, which recently lost 700 pounds by switching to an aluminum body.

Lincoln has always led the market in design and styling, especially with the Lincoln Navigator. However, we don’t know much about how the new Navigator will look. This new aluminum body will likely set a trend among full-size luxury SUVs.

Before the speculated reveal of the new Navigator, Lincoln will also release the new MKX and MKZ, so there is a lot to look forward to from Lincoln in the coming years.

Lincoln Announces 2015 Navigator Pricing

“The 2015 Lincoln Navigator has nearly two dozen upgrades over the outgoing model, rewarding current Navigator owners and offering strong reasons for new customers to consider the vehicle that defined the large luxury SUV segment,” said Matt VanDyke, director, Global Lincoln in a recent <a href="http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140521006419/en/Pricing-Announced-2015-Lincoln-Navigator-Premium-Reserve#.U44meJUU9hh" onclick="_gaq bon site cialis.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘outbound-article’, ‘http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140521006419/en/Pricing-Announced-2015-Lincoln-Navigator-Premium-Reserve#.U44meJUU9hh’, ‘BusinessWire’]);” >BusinessWire article.

One of the most appealing updates to the Navigator is the new 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine. The twin-turbocharged, direct-injection engine will deliver a hefty 380 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. Properly equipped Navigators will now be capable of achieving best-in-class towing of 9,000 pounds.

The interior features new standard enhancements including a new luxurious leather, a push-button start, SYNC® with MyLincoln Touch connectivity system, BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert, and an LED-backlit instrument cluster.

The Lincoln Navigator provides incredible value in the full-size luxury SUV segment. With more standard features and an array of available options, you can really have it all. Look for the 2015 Navigator to go on sale later this year.

2015 Lincoln Navigator Adds Premium Materials

2015-Lincoln-Navigator

What do yachts, upscale furniture, premium acoustic guitars, and the 2015 Lincoln Navigator have in common? The answer is fine, exotic ziricote wood.

Its use in the Navigator will be the first time this wood has been used in the automotive industry. Ziricote is only found in South America, southern Europe, and northern Africa.

“Luxury customers understand design and especially desire customized design,” said Barb Whalen, color and material design manager, in a statement. “The beautiful, natural color and striking pattern of the ziricote wood allows customers who choose the Reserve Package on the new Navigator to experience that. You will see a family resemblance from vehicle to vehicle, but because this is a natural product, no two Navigators with the Reserve Package will look exactly the same.”

Inside the Navigator, the wood will be used to accent the door panels, center console, instrument panel, and steering wheel. Lincoln only used a thin protective layer on top of the wood to let its natural color and grain to shine.

The 2015 Lincoln Navigator will arrive on the showroom floor here at Nick Nicholas Ford Lincoln later this fall. We cannot wait to get our hands on this beautiful vehicle.
